Seamless Shore Transfer
The seamless shore transfer System allows immediate switching to Kohler generator set power or shore power protecting the electrical system from the possibility of simultaneous connection of both power sources.
The system can manage one up to three generators equipped with both three-phase and single-phase Kohler P-Gen control systems and a single earth connection. Seamless Shore Transfer is designed by our parent company SAIM.
Features
• Customizable user interface for displaying the operating status and data acquired by the system
• Setting of operating parameters
• Alarms and history Display
Functions
Load transfer of power supply from generators to shore power and vice versa without interruption
• Generator start command, digital synchronization with the grid
• Automatic generator start-up in the event of a main power failure
• Selection of minimum number of generators in operation from operator panel
• Display of main generator parameters via Modbus on all connected panels
• Load protections for minimum/maximum main voltage and frequency, voltage unbalance, reverse cyclic direction
• History management: periodic or event-driven storage of the status of all the acquired quantities, digital inputs and outputs and all electrical parameters of generators and mains, up to 1000 records
• Recording of any command or change to set points with identification of the active user and indication of the parameter
• RS232 and 485 – Modbus communication port for connection to main bridge control panel
• Integrated Ethernet port for connection to Intel Scada stations or Modbus TCP-IP communication with on-board supervisory systems
• Air Gate technology for remote control without the need for static IPs and specific rules in the firewall
• Web supervisor, ComAp’s unique platform for remote control of the generator fleet from any Internet browser, with advanced reporting functions and energy statistics functions

The system complies with the essential health and safety requirements of the Low Voltage Directive No. 73/23-CEE and the Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive No. 89/336-CEE based on its design and type, as disseminated by the manufacturing Company.
Certificates are available from classification bodies: ABS – LR – BV – RINA – CRS – CCS – DNV – GL.
