Utilizing advanced computer vision algorithms, the LOOKOUT system automatically identifies and tracks potential hazards such as other vessels, buoys, floating debris, whales, and even people in the water. This proactive detection allows operators to respond swiftly to emerging threats.

LOOKOUT offers a high-resolution daylight zoom camera with a 20° horizontal field of view, allowing operators to identify distant objects with precision. This capability is essential for spotting potential hazards early and taking appropriate action.

The system integrates data from charts, AIS, radar, and computer vision to create an intuitive 3D augmented reality overlay. This visual representation enhances situational awareness by superimposing critical information directly onto the forward-facing display.

The LOOKOUT Camera features an advanced night vision system powered by Sony’s STARVIS sensor, delivering exceptional low-light performance in full color. STARVIS technology enhances sensitivity in near-dark conditions, allowing you to clearly see objects, navigation markers, and potential hazards at night or in poor visibility, without relying on infrared-only black-and-white imaging. This ensures safer navigation during dawn, dusk, fog, or nighttime operations.

LOOKOUT’s Docking Mode provides precise visual guidance to make approaching and securing your vessel effortless and safe. By using AI-driven overlays and real-time situational awareness, it highlights distances, obstacles, and alignment cues, helping you navigate tight spaces with confidence. Docking Mode reduces stress in crowded marinas or unfamiliar harbors, giving you full control and peace of mind every time you dock

The 360° Scan provides complete situational awareness around your vessel, whether navigating tight marinas or open waters. By continuously monitoring the full surrounding area, it detects hazards, obstacles, and other vessels in real time, eliminating blind spots and ensuring safer navigation in all conditions.

The camera features a built-in navigation light, fully compliant with U.S. Coast Guard regulations. Integrated directly into the camera housing, this all-around white light simplifies installation, reduces clutter on deck, and ensures your vessel remains visible to others in all conditions.

The LOOKOUT Brain can integrate with existing cameras already on your vessel, allowing you to leverage your current equipment through the Brain unit. This flexibility means you can enhance your setup without purchasing additional cameras, combining onboard video feeds with the AI system for a seamless, unified view of your vessel’s surroundings

The system uses augmented reality combined with NMEA2000 network data and built-in chart information to provide enhanced visibility even in fog or low-visibility conditions. By overlaying navigation markers, obstacles, and vessel positions onto a clear visual display, it effectively gives you “eyes in the fog”, helping you navigate safely when traditional sightlines are limited.
