Last week Atlantis Marine Power had the opportunity to visit the Kohler Engines facility in Reggio Emilia to attend the annual Kohler EMEA marine distributors meeting.

Kohler Engines hosted the event at their state-of-the-art factory in Reggio Emilia which produces thousands of engines each year including the KDW and KDI series that power our marine generator sets from 5kW to 35kW.

The production facility is truly impressive, its not difficult to understand why Kohler is the choice of many world class manufactures such as JCB.

Of special interest was the new production line to manufacture the Kohler 5EFKOD, 7EFKOZD and 9EFKOZD generators in Europe, Kohler is a truly global organisation and to understand this line was set up and online in a matter of months is testament to the commitment, effort, and teamwork of Kohler Energy.
